Campus Rec Announces "Workout
Warrior" Award Winners

Brent BoyerArt JahnsenThe Sonoma Student Union’s Campus Rec Program has recently recognized one current and one former SSU staff member as Workout Warriors, for being such great participants at the Rec Center. Brent Boyer (left), staff with the Disabled Student Services program, was awarded the Spring 2006 award. Art Jahnsen (right), mailroom clerk for many years, was awarded the Fall 2005 award. Jahnsen recently left SSU to take a new job at SJRC. Both showed themselves to be dedicated and consistent Rec Center participants who always show kindness and respect toward Rec Center staff members when they come into the facility. The student staff consider them to be the type of Rec Center members who set a great example for others. Workout Warrior Award Winners are honored with a free semester membership to the Rec Center! For more information about the Rec Center, its programs and services, or the Workout Warrior Award, please go to www.sonoma.edu/campusrec.

Campus Key Reminder for Departments
with Student Employees

Departments are asked to remind students holding campus keys to return or renew their keys by May 31. Campus keys can be returned to Customer Services in Salazar Hall. If a student will continue serving a department through the Summer, a new key request form must be submitted to Customer Services, signed by the Dean or Department Manager. The form can be found at: http://www.sonoma.edu/afd/forms/pdf/stud_key.pdf

The campus key policy allows students to have keys for the period of one semester or summer. Failure to return/renew campus keys results in an administrative hold being placed on students' registration, grades, transcripts, and diploma. These steps are taken to ensure University security.
