Brandon Bronzan, Sports Information Director, has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director. He will continue in his role as Sports Information Director, but will have additional responsibilities in the areas of scheduling, event management and Web site development, especially in the areas of e-commerce and audio/video streaming.

Bronzan has covered SSU's 13 intercollegiate teams for the past four years. "The expansion of his role in the administration of the department will benefit our student-athletes, coaches and staff members," says athletic director Bill Fusco.

Prior to his return to Sonoma State in 2002, Broznan was a Media Relations
Assistant with the Tennessee Smokies, then the Class AA affiliate of the
Toronto Blue Jays. He also worked for the Visalia Oaks and as a
student assistant in the Sports Information office at Sonoma State. He is a
2001 graduate of Sonoma State with a B.S. in Business Administration.

A member of the College Sports Information Directors of America,
he serves on the organization's Publications Committee. He is also a
regional voting member of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of
America.
