"Wine Country Welcome" for New Faculty, Aug. 16
A "Wine Country Welcome" is in store for the 20 new faculty coming to campus for orientation next week, Aug. 16. The Professional Development Subcommittee, Center for Teaching and Professional Development, and Academic Affairs will greet 20 new tenure track faculty with orientation activities on Thursday, Aug. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Schulz 3001. A reception follows in the University Club from 4-5 p.m. hosted by President Arminana. The entire campus can meet and greet the new faculty at the first Friday at Four on Aug. 31 in the University Club beginning at 4 p.m. Contact Beez Schell, 4-2678, for more information.

reception honoring Vice President for Student Affairs and
Enrollment Management Dr. Katharyn Crabbe is set for 2 p.m.
on Aug. 10 in the University Club. Crabbe retires
effective Aug. 15 to spend more time with her husband John
and her family. She may return to teaching in the future.
