Tuesday, August 21 (Classes begin)
ASI Student Government Day @ 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Stevenson Quad

Wondering what some of the hot student issues are at SSU and how they affect you? Come find out by meeting your elected Associated Students representatives, find out who is speaking for you and spending your fee dollars. Lots of information on programs, services and how you can get involved.

Wednesday, August 22
New International and Visiting Student Reception@ 4-5 p.m.; Student Union Center For Culture, Gender and Sexuality

Our annual International Reception, which is hosted by SSU International Services and includes refreshments, is conceived as a congenial welcome for all new and returning International Students, as well as all visiting National Student Exchange students. As always, any domestic students who wish to greet our visiting students are happily received as well!

Part-Time Job Open House @ 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Career Center - Salazar 1070

Come check out the Career Center and what it has to offer you. If you are looking for a job, during this time you will find lists of local on- and off-campus employers and contact names, resume makeovers by Career Peer Mentors or Career Advisors, and tips on effective job search strategy.

Club and Campus Resource Fair @ 5-6:30 p.m., Sauvignon Green

There are more than 100 clubs and Greek organizations at SSU, so there's sure to be one (or two!) for you to join. Meet club representatives. Learn what the many campus clubs have to offer you, and what you might offer them!

Club and Campus Resource Fair and Hot Dog Giveaway Day @ 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.; Salazar Quad

FREE Hot Dogs, Soda and Chips. Check out the over 100 clubs and organizations we have on campus. There is something for YOU at SSU!

Adventure Programs Showcase: ODP trip Sign-ups, Free Climbing, Meet the guides, find out how you can get involved @ 7 p.m., Rec Center Silver Strand

Come check out the fun times with Outdoor Pursuits as we present our amazing trips for the year, and offer free rock climbing. Don't miss this opportunity to meet the wonderful staff of ODP, learn about the trips you could be on this year, jam in a drum circle, and just have a fun time hanging out and meeting people. We'll also be having a raffle that you're eligible for if you sign up for one of our adventures! Can't wait to see you there!!!!
