Based on Frank Millers graphic novel, this film concerns the 480 B.C. Battle of Thermopylae, where the King of Sparta led his army of 300 soldiers against the advancing Persians. This legendary battle is said to have inspired all of Greece to band together against the Persians to usher in the world's first democracy.

Friday, August 31
RSA Drive In Movie Night - Wild Hogs, 9 p.m.; Sauvignon Quad

A coming-of-age story starring a bunch of fiftysomething stars rather than teenage actors, Wild Hogs is a well-intentioned comedy starring John Travolta (Woody), Tim Allen (Doug), Martin Lawrence (Bobby), and William H. Macy (Dudley) as a group of Midwesterners facing their own versions of mid-life crises. They decide to escape their frazzled personal lives and rejuvenate themselves by taking a road trip on their slick hogs. But their journey is less Easy Rider than it is Three Amigos (plus one).

Saturday, September 1
Blades of Glory, 9 p.m., Cooperage

In this hilarious comedy, two rival Olympic ice skaters are stripped of their gold medals and permanently banned from men's single competition following a public brawl. The two must come together when they discover a loophole that will allow them to qualify as a pairs team.

Saturday,  September 8
Spiderman III, 9 p.m., Cooperage

In this third installment of the amazing Spider-Man trilogy, Peter Parker has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to M.J. and his duties as a superhero. When his suit suddenly turns black and enhances his power it brings out a vengeful side that he must struggle to control while battling two of the most feared villains yet, Sandman and Venom.

Saturday, September 15
Fracture, 9 p.m., Cooperage

A structural engineer is found innocent of the attempted murder of his wife due to a series of technicalities. The district attorney who prosecuted him becomes a crusader for justice in this thriller that twists and turns as the two try to outwit each other.

Saturday, September 22
Knocked Up, 9 p.m., Cooperage

A one-night stand between the utterly mismatched Ben (Seth Rogen, his first starring role) and Alison (Katherine Heigl) results in said pregnancy, and the two people reunite for mutual support--even though they barely know each other. Ben's a slob who lives with four other guys, all of whom share the same stunted approach to maturity; Alison is a new on-air personality at the E! channel. That these two eventually develop a shared understanding and affection is perhaps the movie's biggest stretch (some of the male-humor jokes amongst the guys are idiotic enough to test anybody's hope of civilizing them).

Saturday, September 29
Stomp The Yard, 9 p.m., Cooperage

When DJ loses his younger brother his parents send him to Truth University in Georgia to give him a chance at a better life. There he finds that the rivalry in the stepping competitions between the black fraternities on campus is fierce. An amazing street dancer himself, DJ joins the competition and snags the girl of his on-campus rival at the same time.
