A FOOL IN LOVE by Shane Weare is typical of the many heartfelt pieces of art featured at the upcoming Art From the Heart auction on February 9 at the University Art Gallery. Free previews of the artwork for the campus community are available 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Wednesday, February 6; 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Thursday February 7; and 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday February 8. Ticket price is $30.

Alumni Association Seeks to Honor Faculty,
Staff, Grads and Community Members 

The Alumni Association invites nominations from the campus community to recognize distinguished alumni in the following categories:
Alumni Achievement Award, to recognize individuals who are not graduates of Sonoma State University, but who have made significant contributions to our community.
Distinguished Alumni Award, presented to Sonoma State University alumni for their outstanding professional achievements, contributions to society and the University.
Distinguished Alumni Teaching Award, presented to an alumni faculty member in recognition of their dedication to teaching at Sonoma State University.
Outstanding Alumni Staff Award, to recognize exceptional service to Sonoma State University.

CTPD Workshops for Faculty and Staff

The Center for Training and Professional Development, in conjunction with the Professional Development Subcommittee, University Library, Instructional Technology Services and the CSU Center for Distributed Learning, offers a series of workshops for all faculty and staff. The upcoming schedule includes:

Assigning Multimedia Assignments, February 6 from 10-11 a.m., Schulz 2019 - Erin Bower (University Library) and Tim Hensel (Library Technology Services) present effective ways in which faculty members can work with existing University services to most effectively implement multimedia assignments.

WebCT: Assignments Tool & Turnitin.com, February 6 and 7 from noon-1 p.m., Learning and Teaching Center - Martha Ezell, Media Specialist, IT, is instructor.
