Two Festival Tickets For $24 Offered
to Staff, Faculty for Final Concerts

As a way of saying thanks, campus staff and faculty are being offered two tickets for $24 for the closing weekend of the Green Music Festival.

Enjoy the Larry Vuckovich Jazz Band on Friday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the rich acoustics of Warren Auditorium. His current CD "High Wall: Real Life Film Noir" is already receiving top attention on the charts. This gifted pianist's originality, elegance, dexterity and most of all his great sense of swing, time, space and phrasing will make for a great evening of music.

A remarkable artist, torch singer Wesla Whitfield appears on the Warren Auditorium stage on Saturday, July 19 at 7:30 p.m. This brilliant performer has a deep love for that rich storehouse of musical treasures often identified as the Great American Popular Songbook. A sound that borders on both pop music, and a little jazz thrown in draws from great standards to neglected gems.

Closing this year's festival is two time Grammy nominated musicians, Quartet San Francisco. Non-traditional in their delivery, when the music says swing, they swing. When the music says groove, they groove. From Chick Correa to Dave Brubeck, toss in a little Leonard Bernstein, David Grisman and Bobby Gentry and there will be an afternoon of fantastic music. Sunday, July 20 at 4 p.m. in the Evert B. Person Theatre is the place to be.

For this closing weekend offer of two tickets for $24, call City Box Office at 1-877-778-3378, and ask for the two-ticket offer for employees.
