Seeking Basketball Buddies

If anybody is interested in playing basketball with faculty and staff, a group has been meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Recreation Center from noon -1 p.m. Depending on the number of people who show up the group play half or full court. Beginners to advanced players are accepted. Those interested should e-mail Mike Dominguez, Intramural/Sport Clubs/Kids Camp Coordinator,
mike.dominguez@sonoma.edu. The game is free to play even for those who don't have a Rec Center member pass.

Be Aware of Phishing Scams

As a reminder, Sonoma State University does not solicit account information from campus users via e-mail. These types of "phishing" scams are being aimed at universities around the world. Like most universities, Sonoma's spam filters remove most phishing scams, but it sometimes takes a while to adjust to new ones.

Sonoma's IT department will periodically send an email message requesting that employees should change your Seawolf ID. That message will direct users to
https://ldaps.sonoma.edu/password/.

Always check the address in the location bar of the browser. Any other address is bogus.

For more information on safe email practices please see:

Questions or concerns should be directed to the IT Helpdesk at 4-HELP (4-4357) or via e-mail at helpdesk@sonoma.edu.
