It Matters! - Environment
The It Matters! lecture series continues this week, with a discussion on the environment. Leading the debate are Laura Watt and Caroline Christian, both of the Environmental Studies and Planning Department. Every Wednesday at noon, a different topic of current political importance will be discussed in Schulz 3001. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.
The I Express… art exhibition, featuring work from North Bay artists, is also taking on a political theme in the University Library Art Gallery. The artwork explores themes that SSU students identified as important in the upcoming elections, such as the war, environment and economy. The art exhibition and weekly discussions will continue throughout the remainder of the political season, wrapping up with a post-election discussion on Nov. 5. For more information, visit the website or call 4-4240.
