CSU Offers International Opportunities for Faculty

International Programs (IP), the CSU study abroad program, offers eligible faculty the opportunity to live and work in countries such as China, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico and Spain.

A wide variety of options are available, from Resident Director positions at foreign universities, to teaching aboard a 600-foot passenger ship as it sails around the world. Eligibility requirements are also varied, depending on the desired position. Time spent abroad can range from one month to an entire academic year. For more information, contact Robert Train at 4-2014, or visit SSU's Global and International Education website.

Media Relations Seeks Information on Faculty Involvement

SSU Media Relations would like to remind faculty members who share their expertise and scholarship with community groups, or who participate in forums or presentations, that such activities are important to the University community. As such, please notify Jean Wasp, Media Relations Coordinator, of appearances, media commentary and future plans. Such appearances raise the profile of the University in the community and can attract donors and other supporters for your work. Media Relations strives to get news of these events out to local media and community groups, as well as track those that have already occurred over the past year. For more information, contact Jean Wasp at 4-2057.
