Is There Anything Better Than 100 percent?
The Department of Nursing is pleased to announce that ALL of the December and May Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Direct Entry Masters of Science in Nursing graduates passed the state board (NCLEX) licensing exam. That computes to a 100% pass rate. That is a success story indeed!
New Developments in the School of Business and Economics
This fall, the School of Business and Economics, along with the School of Extended Education, have developed and launched a custom training program, "Achieving Excellence and Success in the Hospitality Industry," for the Dry Creek Rancheria. The program is a 36-hour, 12-week program facilitated primarily by Business and Economics faculty, as well as Steve Estes from History, which was created in response to an expressed need by the Rancheria.
Also new to the School of Business and Economics is the Center for Advising and Placement, which strives to serve as a comprehensive, full-service center for the advising, guidance and placement of business and economics students, whether it be internship opportunities or careers post-graduation.
For more information on either of these programs, contact Sarah Dove at 4-2548.
