Faculty/Staff Halloween Party

The annual faculty/staff Halloween Party and Costume Contest is just around the corner! The festivities take place on Fri., Oct. 31 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Commons. Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate individually, as a couple or as a group. All are welcome, and participants are invited to parade across the stage in costume or do a skit of some sort. “The Staff Infection can't make it this year, but the Costume Contest will carry on...with Skeleton Krue howlin' Halloween tunes for you!” says Tracy Goodman of customer services. “The Witching hour commences at 12, in the Commons.”

Fridays at Four

October's "Fridays at Four" event will occur on Oct. 24 and feature traditional appetizers and deserts in honor of the German tradition, Oktoberfest. The appetizer menu includes; spinach dip, chicken drumettes, seasonal vegetable tray, an assortment of fresh fruit and cheeses, beer battered onion rings, sausage and sauerkraut with a variety of mustards. Desserts are German chocolate brownies and apple strudels. The no-host bar will have Lagunitas and, for the first time, Fat Tire on tap.
