New Text Message Feature Makes Finding Books Easier at the University Library

The University Library has a new feature that allows anyone to send a text message or email from a library catalog record. Instead of writing call numbers down on scraps of paper, library goers can text the information to themselves and then locate items in the library. The text message includes the title, call number and location of the item. A button now appears in the catalog record for an item which says, "Send Via a Text Message." Depending on cell phone plans, charges may apply.
