RETIREMENTS
Melissa Morita Retiring After 18 Years at SSU Health Center
"It must be catching! Melissa Morita, Student Health Center (SHC) Radiologic Technologist
has decided to follow the recent path of two other long time Student Health Center
employees and retire from SSU after some 18 years of service.
But, she's not leaving
SSU entirely.
Melissa will be swapping her status as an SSU employee for that of an
SSU student, pursuing her long time passion for literature. Her retirement will
also be filled with more time for other passions, from her chickens to her children,
to gardening, travel, plays, leisure, and of course chatting. We hope she'll come
back and help us in the SHC now and then, as we search for and train a new X-ray
tech to replace her, but we'll also be looking for her smiling face as a student on
campus, and for her upper left arm, when she comes to the SHC as a
student, for her annual flu shot.
Members of the campus community are invited to come by the SHC between 3:45 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Fri., Dec. 5 to chat and bid Melissa a
wonderful, relaxing, and probably very busy retirement."
