Sidekicks Cycle Camp Returns in January

Sidekicks CycleThe "Sidekicks Cycle" bike camp returns to SSU in its ninth year, to train children to ride conventional two-wheeled bicycles! The camp takes place in the Fieldhouse from Fri., Jan. 16 through Mon., Jan. 19. Children with and without disabilities who have experienced difficulties mastering a two-wheeler have had great success achieving that milestone by using the special trainer bikes designed by retired mechanical engineer Richard Klein of losethetrainingwheels.org.

For more information, contact Elaine McHugh in the kinesiology department at elaine.mchugh@sonoma.edu or visit the website. Volunteer opportunities for local high school students are available, and SSU students can sign up for one unit of
credit through Extended Education.
