RSCAP Summer Fellowship Applications Due Feb. 3

These grants assist faculty in initiating, continuing or completing research, scholarship and creative activity projects through a fellowship equal to the recipient's monthly salary. The RFP and application forms may be accessed at the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) web site. Paper copies are also available through ORSP (Carol Hall, Administrative Support Coordinator, 4-2448, Stevenson 1024).

Proposals are due in the ORSP office (Stev 1024) by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2009.

Disability Services Hosting AsTech Lab Open House

For those interested in learning about technology for students with
disabilities, specifically the technology behind the Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI), Disability Services for Students (DSS) is hosting an open house of the AsTech Lab.

The open house showcases assistive technologies such as screen readers for students who are blind, speech recognition for students with physical disabilities, and text-to-speech for students with learning disabilities. The AsTech Lab is located within the IT 24-Hour Lab in Schulz 1058.

The open house will be held bi-monthly (see dates below). RSVPs are requested. To RSVP, contact AsTech Lab coordinator Scott Kupferman at 4-4361 or email kupferma@sonoma.edu.
