RETIREMENTS

Suzanne Stewart Retiring After 31 Years at the Anthropological Studies Center

"Suzanne joined ASC in 1978 for the Warm Springs Dam archaeological project under the leadership of David Fredrickson, now emeritus Professor of Anthropology. A professional editor since 1967, Suzanne's official title at ASC is Staff Archaeologist/Editor. Her critical review and keen sense of style have helped hundreds of SSU students improve their writing and analytical skills, preparing them for the working world.

Suzanne is also a qualified archaeologist in her own right, recently nominating the Point Reyes National Seashore Archaeological District to the National Register of Historic Places. Although she would edit out the phrase as hyperbole, Suzanne is simply irreplaceable.

Suzanne's friends throughout the campus community are invited to the University Club between on Fri., Feb. 27 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. to chat and bid Suzanne a relaxing but doubtless very busy retirement. Food and drinks provided."
