Faculty and Staff Free Week at Rec Center, March 16-20
The Pro Rec Club is offering a free week at the campus Rec Center, offering group
fitness classes, 3-on-3 half-court basketball tournaments, free
massages, and a variety of other events exclusive to faculty and staff.
The Pro Rec Club is a new campus club, focused on helping students
develop skills in the professional field of recreation. The club's goal for this semester is to raise money to help fund seven students
attending the National Intramural Recreational
Sports Association Conference in Charlotte, NC. "As a
club, we are hosting this event to benefit the faculty and staff,
and only asking for donations. All of our events are going to be
run by volunteer help from certified group fitness instructors, as
well as certified massage therapists," says Pro Rec Club president, Morgan Carvajal.
For more information, contact Carvajal at (925) 759-8444 or email carvajam@sonoma.edu.
