"Best in the Business" Honors to Emeritus Professors - Wallace Lowry, William Reynolds
Only the best business students in the world, and the professionals who earned the distinction of "the Best in Business" during their academic careers, can claim membership in Beta Gamma Sigma. This year?s Beta Gamma Sigma inductees from SSU have certainly earned that title, says Chapter President John Urbanski.
The SSU chapter is pleased to announce the induction of two chapter honoree members, those individuals from the University and surrounding community who have exemplified the principles of Beta Gamma Sigma in their personal and professional lives.
The 2009 honorees are both emeritus professors from the School of Business and Economics: Wallace M. Lowry and William L. Reynolds. They will be inducted into the campus chapter at a ceremony on Thursday, May 7 at 5 p.m. in Schulz 3001 along with business students who will also be recognized. SSU achieved accreditation of its business programs by AACSB International in 2008. As a result of this achievement, the school established a chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma.
