California Special Election

The State of California has called a Special Election for May 19. Locate your polling place by visiting the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters webpage. Polls will be open between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Individuals who are not yet registered to vote may do so by visiting the Secretary of State's homepage and downloading the form. Forms are also available at the Associated Students office on the second floor of the Student Union. All new voter registration forms must be postmarked by May 4 to participate in the May 19 special election. Official voter information guide can be found at the Voter Information website

Sustainable Enterprise Conference Extends Discount to Faculty, Staff, Administrators, Students

Sustainable Enterprise ConferenceThe Sustainable Enterprise Conference invites SSU faculty, staff, administrators and students to register for the Fri., May 8 conference at the discounted rate of $65. Held at Sonoma Mountain Village in Rohnert Park, the conference focuses on helping businesses and organizations learn to make the transition to economic, environmental, and social sustainability.

This year's 4th annual conference features 6th District Assemblymember Jared Huffman as keynote speaker, a free Green MBA Consulting Corner, and a full selection of presentations and workshops.
