AsTech Lab Open House - Thurs., Sept. 17 at Noon

Those interested in learning about technology for students with disabilities, specifically the technology behind the Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI), are invited to attend the Sept. 17 Open House of the AsTech Lab, hosted by Disability Services for Students (DSS). The Open House showcases assistive technologies such as screen readers for students who are blind, speech recognition for students with physical disabilities, and text-to-speech for students with learning disabilities.

The AsTech Lab is located within the IT 24-Hour Lab in Schulz 1058. RSVPs are requested. To RSVP, contact Scott Kupferman, AsTech Lab Coordinator, at 4-4361 or email scott.kupferman@sonoma.edu

EndNote Web
SSU students, faculty, and staff now have access to EndNote Web. Tired of formatting bibliographies? Now, collect and organize references with EndNote Web and have citations and footnotes formatted in APA, MLA or any other style. EndNote Web allows for categorizing sources, making bibliographies on the fly, and even has a "cite while you write" feature. This workshop covers the basics of EndNote Web to get users up and running.

New Workshops for Faculty - Teaching Web 2.0
This new series of 30 minute, drop-in workshops is designed for instructors to discover and explore Web 2.0 technology tools that can enhance course curriculum, inspire new assignment options, and create opportunities to engage students in an online environment.
