Massages and Gift Certificates Available at the Rec Center
Give the gift of relaxation this holiday season! Gift certificates are available for purchase at the Rec Center front desk. Treat your department, co-workers, or group of friends with a convenient on-site chair massage, or de-stress just in time for finals. 2010-2011 Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program
Applications for the 2010-2011 Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program (formerly the Forgivable Loan Program) are now available online. The program’s goal is to increase the pool of individuals with the motivation, skills, and experience to teach the diverse student body of the CSU system. Those selected will be eligible to borrow up to $10, 000 per year for a total of $30, 000 within a five-year period while they are enrolled full-time in a doctoral program. The loans will be cancelled at a rate of 20% per year for each year of full-time faculty employment at a CSU campus after completion of the doctorate. Each applicant must be sponsored by a full-time tenured/tenure-track CSU faculty member. Completed applications and all supporting materials should be submitted to David Hartranft in the Academic Affairs Office (Stev. 1041). The application deadline is March 1, 2010.
