Student Feedback Survey Extended Until May 2

The message to students: Tell us, we are listening!
The first annual Student Feedback Week has been extended until Sun., May 2. During this time, students are being encouraged to take a feedback survey, covering areas such as course offerings, major choices, academic services, extracurriculur opportunties, student life and faculty avaialablity. The university is dedicated to listening closely to the results, and learnign what works for students and what doesn't. This information will help direct campus efforts into creating a better environment for student satisfaction, retention and graduation.
Students are being informed of the survey via email, Facebook and fliers. The Core Implementation Group would like to request that our faculty and staff remind all SSU students throughout the week of April 26-30, to take the survey by going to the SSU homepage and clicking “Student Feedback Week.” A brief classroom announcement, reminders, or writing the URL on classroom boards (http://www.sonoma.edu/ssustudentfeedback/), is greatly appreciated.
Survey respondents will be entered in a raffle, with two grand prize winners taking home Apple iPads valued at $500. Other prizes include five SSU semester parking permits, valued at $90 each, and ten $25 WolfBucks cards.
Increasing students’ achievement and graduation rates is a MEGA initiative for the CSU and Sonoma State. The tools needed to be effective in meeting these goals come from the input provided by our students.
Questions may be directed to Saeid Rahimi, Dean of the School of Science & Technology, at saeid.rahimi@sonoma.edu.
