Professional Announcements

Jorge Porras, Modern Languages and Literatures, delivered a paper and chaired a session at the 15th Afro-Hispanic Language, Culture, and Literature Conference, held in Quito, Ecuador, January 7-12, 2007. The paper, read in Spanish, dealt with a linguistic analysis of Afro-Colombian writer, Candelario Obeso (1849-1884).
