Fly Horizon Air Beginning March 20
Starting March 20, the Sonoma County Airport Express has scheduled service to coordinate with Horizon Air non-stop flights to the area from Los Angeles and Seattle. The boarding and drop off points near the campus for buses include the Petaluma Fairgrounds, Doubletree Hotel and The Days Inn. Tickets pricing ranges from $ 10-$12. Make Plans for June's Staff Appreciation Day "Enrichment Sessions" by May 12
The 2007 Staff Appreciation Day is on Thursday, June 7. Details of the day’s events will be posted in a future Newsbytes. The day begins at the Commons with light refreshments, the announcement of the 2006-07 Excellence Award winners and personal and professional enrichment sessions that staff may choose to attend. Lunch is provided from 12:30-2 p.m. There will also be individual display and information booths and a prize raffle. A schedule of the entire day’s events will be distributed to staff members in early June. Managers are asked to encourage their staff to participate in the day.
Human Services is also looking for volunteers to present
enrichment sessions for the day as a way to share knowledge,
hobby, or talents with colleagues. Sessions in
the past have been knitting, tours and information of campus
areas, cooking demonstrations, and wellness/healthy lifestyle.
In addition, employees, groups, or departments are encouraged
to reserve a display table and chairs for the lunchtime
display and information booths. Those interested in leading
