Take a Trip Back in Time to The Lonesome West
"The Lonesome West” written by Martin McDonagh and directed by Judy Navas, opens at the Evert B. Person Theater on Friday, March 30 and runs through April 6. This four-character play revolves around brothers Coleman and Valene Connor living in the family home of their deceased father in a story that some have called "a modern day Cain and Abel." Instrumental characters in this play are the young priest, Father Welsh, and a young teenage girl, Girleen Kelleher. This is a play filled with raw emotion, wonderful dialogue and twists and turns that keep the viewer anxious for each step in the journey to unfold. For tickets, phone the Center for Performing Arts box office at 4-2353 or or visit them online. The box office is open noon to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
