Elizabeth C. Martinez, Spanish and CALS, served as facilitator for two sessions sponsored by the Sonoma County Library, to discuss the newly published book, California Uncovered: Stories for the 21st Century. Members of the public attended these two meetings, on April 4 and April 11, and contributed to a rich discussion on the authors in this anthology, as well as their reflections on California's multicultural people and history. Martinez also just published a book review essay in the Hispanic Outlook on Higher Education, on Manuel Martin-Rodriguez's book, "Life in Search of Readers: Reading (in) Chicana/o Literature." Submit
