The annual Excellence in Teaching Award goes to Lynn Stauffer (left) and Suzanne Toczyski (right) this year. Stauffer is a professor of computer science. Toczyski is Chair of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and an associate professor of French. For complete details, see Faculty Excellence.

Action Needed for Your Voice Mail

All telephone voice mail on campus will be moved to a new system from the old system, which the vendor no longer supports, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 6. Voice mail services will be unavailable during this migration activity. All voice mail users will need to perform the following tasks: 1. Review and delete all voice mails on the current system by close of business on May 5 since they cannot be moved to the new system. 2. After connecting to the new system, set up your password. (Press 12+voice mailbox number) You can re-use the voice mail password you are currently using. 3. Record your name and personal greetings. A web site has been created to help answer some frequently asked questions and will be updated as necessary. The link is http://www.sonoma.edu/it/nt/vmupgrade. Catastrophic Leave Request - Joyce Chong

A request from a University employee, Joyce Chong, Academic Advising, has been determined eligible to receive donated vacation leave credits due to a catastrophic illness/injury of an immediate family member. To donate, navigate to Catastrophic Leave. The form should be printed, signed, and returned to Payroll and Benefits in Salazar Hall 2079.
