International Conference on Dreams Set
for June 29-July
3; Art Show in University Library
The
Psychology Department co-sponsors an international
interdisciplinary conference on dreams on campus from
Friday, June 29 to Tuesday, July 3.
It is open to the public and the campus community is invited
to attend. The event is being held in conjunction with
the International Association for the Study of Dreams,
an interdisciplinary organization of people
interested in studying and working with dreams. Some
151 presenters and approximately 350 people are expected

An art show entitled "The
Spirit
of the Dream" is on display at the University Library
Art Gallery, June 15 - July 2. The reception for the show
is Monday, July 2, from 4-5 p.m. For further details about

Love to Sing? Try It at Midsummer Night Sings in July
The Sonoma County Choral Society presents its fifth annual Midsummer Night Sings event, part of Greenfarm’s choral series, on Wednesday evenings from 7-9:45 p.m. in Ives 119. Join in a unique experience of singing great choral works, with only one rehearsal, led by four of the Bay Area’s finest choral conductors.
Each session features a noted conductor working through one or more great works with a choir of local singers ranging in size from 80-120 voices. Advance registration is not necessary. Scores will be available on loan. Fees are collected at the door. Snacks and beverages for break time are provided. Sessions are:
July 11: Haydn 'The
Creation,' conductor

July 18: Verdi 'Requiem,' conductor Lynne
Morrow, Choral Director Oakland Symphony Chorus.
July 25: Carol's Choral Favorites (Hassler, Bennett, Lauridsen
and others), conductor Carol Menke, Music Director Cantiamo.
August 1: Haydn 'Theresienmesse,' conductor
Magen Solomon, Music Director San Francisco Choral Artists.
