Media Calendar for September 4-10

WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS-THE BOOK AS IMAGE -- Curated by library staff member and graduate student Darren Sargent, this exhibit features the work of both two and three dimensional artists who have created pieces objectifying the book and in so doing make it an aesthetic or conceptual component in their work. THE FAILURE OF THE CORPORATE MEDIA -- Lecture by Norman Solomon, nationally syndicated columnist on media and politics and Executive Director of the Institute for Public Accuracy.
