The public is invited to attend the fourth biannual "Cheap Art Salon" on Thursday May 6, 1999. Sponsored by the Creative Collective, an organization of Sonoma State University student artists, the event features the artwork of approximately 30 student artists. All prices are $55 or less.
Food and refreshments are provided by Trader Joe's and Lagunitas Brewery, and the Salon will feature live music by local bands including Matt B., Chai Pai, Diggler and Little Tin Frog. Admission is free and the evening begins at 4 p.m. in the Art Building at SSU.
A parking fee of $1.50 (six quarters) is required in all lots , Monday-Thursday, until 10 p.m., Friday until 5 p.m. Reserved parking by permit only. For more information, contact Connie Eagle at (707) 664-3049.
