SSU's CLAD Teacher Credential Program Expanding

Sonoma State University School of Education is currently offering classes leading to the successful completion of the Multiple Subject CLAD Teaching Credential for Elementary School grades. The Education Department is evaluating the possibility of beginning an additional group of students commencing in the Spring of 2000 and scheduled for
completion in the Fall of 2001.

On May 17, from 3 -5 p.m. in Room 401 at the Mendocino Junior College,
Ukiah, SSU will host an informational meeting regarding this possibility. The purpose of the meeting is to determine community interest in the Multiple Subject Credential program, provide information about the design and requirements of the program, and answer any questions that community members may have regarding this program.

The meeting is open to all residents in the Mendocino-Lake County area. Questions regarding the meeting, the new program, or other issues may be addressed to Richard Svendsen, Sonoma State University, 707-664-4211.
