SSU Bookstore announces the opening of its newest location: the Internet!
Now SSU students, faculty, staff and administrators can shop for many of the Bookstore's products, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at the store's new web site, bookstore.sonoma.edu.
"We've created a complete internet store, offering everything from textbooks and course materials to gifts and clothing to computers," says store manager Ken Brown. "We are extremely pleased to be able to offer the Sonoma State University community the convenience of online shopping, from a source they know and trust."
Visitors should also bookmark the site and check back frequently for special promotions and sales. The site is also linked to www.collegestudent.com, the leading developer of local on-line campus communities. Collegestudent.com creates unique campus-specific sites that provide free e-mail, free personals, a student-run magazine, searchable databases for housing and roommates, and more.
Like the local store, located at 1801 E. Cotati Ave., Rohnert Park, the new internet store will offer competitive prices on textbooks, a wide selection of used books, and the convenience of easy returns if students decide to switch courses. "We're confident students and others will find our web site just as friendly and easy to shop as our regular store," comments Brown.
