Food, Wine and Author Highlighted

Sonoma State University Alumni Association hosts one of the first events in the new Jean and Charles Schulz Information Center. The event, "A Cook's Tour of the Information Center" is Friday, November 10 from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $25 for Alumni members and $35 for non-members.

The Alumni Association, in conjunction with the University Library, showcases the new Information Center and offers food and wine developed by Michele Anna Jordan (BA, Hutchins/Psychology '75 and 1994 Distinguished Alumna). Jordan's array of sample recipes are from three of her books including Salt & Pepper, the revised Cook's Tour of Sonoma County and California home Cooking.

At the event there will be music and books on sale, a special Schulz exhibit, a Friends of the Library book sale and a special Food Writer Lecture by author and chef, Michele Anna Jordon. New members who join the Alumni Association now can receive a ticket to the "Cook's Tour" for $5. For more information, or to order tickets, contact the Alumni Office at 707/664-2426
