Sonoma State University alumni and friends plan to hunker down at the annual SSU Chuck Wagon Chili Feed and Microbrew Hoedown on Friday, Feb. 16 to cheer on the home team in a basketball bonanza.
SSU's men's and women's basketball teams will each take on UC-Davis in the annual event which is sponsored by the SSU Alumni Association. The hoedown will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the Athletic Field House. The women's game begins at 5:45 p.m. and the men's game begins at 8 p.m. in the main gym.
Tickets are $15 per person. The charge includes chili, salad, bread and entrance to both basketball games. Microbrews from Lagunitas Brewing Company are sponsored by Advance Projects International of Petaluma. Those who join the Alumni Association now can receive a ticket to the chili feed for only $5.
Tickets should be purchased by Friday, Feb. 9 and may be picked up at the door.
