The Sociology Department is pleased to announce that the following Sociology students will be initiated into Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Honor Society in Sociology, on Tuesday April 25 at 4 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room in the Student Union.
This prestigious society was founded in 1920 and has chapters at universities across the United States and world. Its purpose is to promote the scientific study of society and to encourage fellowship among those engaged in such study.
Students who have outstanding academic records in the study of sociology are invited to apply for membership.
