Sauvignon Village

Sauvignon East & Sauvignon West

Located in the Sauvignon Village, these four bedrooms, four bath apartments offer private bedrooms and baths, but give students the opportunity to share a living room and kitchen area with others. This Village will be a mixture of first time freshman, new transfers, and returning residents. Each apartment is fully furnished with sofa, two chairs, tables, dining room, table and chairs for six, a full kitchen with gas range and oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator, and microwave oven. Bedrooms are each furnished with one or two beds, desk, chair, bookcase, and dresser. The apartments also have a covered balcony or patio, bookcase and/or nightstand, and dresser. Single rooms have both bookcase and nightstand.

Hello, and welcome to Sauvignon Village - West. My name is Michael Stark and I am the Residential Life Coordinator for Sauv West this year. Please feel free to give me a call or stop by my office with any questions that you might have. If you are new to the area, and even if you are not, I can be a good resource for camping, hiking, and exploring the surrounding areas.

Heather French - Sauvignon East

Hi. I'm Heather, the RLC for Sauvignon Village East. I'm new to SSU as of January '06. Prior to coming to SSU I obtained my BA in Human Studies at Bradford College in Haverhill, MA and worked in Residence Life at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and at University of California, Riverside.

Most recently I completed my MA in Counseling Psychology at Humboldt State University where I lived for the past 3 years. So, although I grew up in Maine and hail from New England, I definitely feel like Northern Cali is my home. I moved here with my son Simon (who recently turned 9 years old!) In my spare time you'll find me playing Harry Potter Wizard's Chess with Simon, or riding bikes to the duck pond. I also love to dance (especially hip-hop) and enjoy great food and good books.
