Welcome

Risk Management is a department within the Administration and Finance Division at Sonoma State University. The Risk Management program assists university personnel through policies and practices designed to minimize the adverse effects of losses experienced by Sonoma State University, its employees, volunteers, students, and visitors.

These losses arise from injury to persons or damage to property and include the legal liability imposed upon Sonoma State University when the injury or damage has been caused, in whole or in part, by Sonoma State University or its employees.

Accident Notification

Employees involved in an accident (vehicle and non vehicle) while engaged in university business should notify Risk Management as soon as possible (within 24 hours) utilizing forms accessible on this website.
