Do you think of international or national figures like Mohandas Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr. or Nelson Mandela? You probably imagine a prime minister, or your professor, but a leader doesn't always have to be someone who's charismatic or does something revolutionary.

A leader can also be a quiet introvert who leads by example. In fact, some of history's most famous leaders have been shy and soft-spoken. Leadership is a relational process of people working together to accomplish change or to make a difference. In other words, leadership is about relationships.
