Parent Orientation
DESCRIPTION:
We welcome students to bring parents/guardians with them to Summer O. Parents/guardians are those special people who will support you throughout your college days. SSU looks forward to partnering with families in order to help our students succeed. Please note:
Parents/guardians will be separate from students for the majority of the Summer O session.Although we encourage all family members to support the incoming freshmen, we intend this Parent Orientation to be for parents/guardians to attend, as you will be getting important information regarding the changing role of a parent, doing business with campus, and campus services.
Parents/guardians will not be staying on campus with the students. A list of local accommodations is available to give you an idea of where to stay when attending the Parent Orientation.
