PARENT & FAMILY WEEKEND 2011

Friday, October 28 - Sunday, October 30

Take a mid-semester break and join your SSU student(s) for a weekend of fun, athletic events, art exhibits, Sonoma County cuisine, information, and much more.

Mingle with other parents and families, and SSU faculty and staff in beautiful Sonoma County.

Sign-up Information

Registration Fees: $25 per guest (0-5 years free)

This fee covers admission to athletic events, evening entertainment, pre-party pizza feed, and other fun activities. Some events are an additional cost and require registration as well.

Check-in Information

Friday Check-In will take place from 10:00am-5:30pm in front of Salazar Hall

Saturday Check-In will take place from 8:30am-12:00pm in front of Salazar Hall

If you are going to be arriving later than these times and want your packet of materials and goodies, your student can check-in for you as long as they bring their Student ID with them. We will not be around to check you in after these time slots.

If you arrive on Friday before 5:00pm you will need to park in the 45-minute parking area, in the front of campus by the flag pole, and check-in with us to get a General Parking Permit to park in any other lots. After 5:00pm on Friday, parking is free for the rest of the weekend.

  • Check out the Music Department's "The Kids are Alright" concert! Saturday, October 29, 4:00 p.m.
    Green Music Center, Music Education Hall 1028

    As part of Parent and Family Weekend, visiting parents and family members are invited to attend this informal concert featuring current music majors performing in a variety of genres. Green Music Center 1028 is in the Music Education building adjacent to the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Hall. The nearest parking is in Lot L. For information, call (707) 664-2324. Free!
