individuals must conform to the following SSU Career
Services standards:
- Career Services at Sonoma State University makes its
services available to employers who do not unlawfully
discriminate in the selection of employees on the
basis of national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual
orientation, age, disability, or any other basis prohibited
by applicable law. Any employer who makes use of the
University facilities or services is agreeing to abide by
this policy.
- Compensation will not be commission-only, nor require
prospective employees to provide personal information
at the time of application, or purchase products/services
contingent upon their employment with, or on behalf of
that company/individual.
- Employment/entrepreneurial opportunities will not be
based on a "pyramid" or "multi-level" type networking
structure requiring or encouraging the recruitment
of others who recruit others, etc. to sell products or
services.
- Positions requiring photographs of applicants will not be
accepted.
- Employers who misrepresent themselves, provide
dishonest information, or harass students, alumni, or
staff will be de-listed.
