    What skills are used?

    Careers in biology share similar characteristics where skills are concerned. Skills include being able to concentrate for extended periods of time and the ability to understand complex concepts. High levels of writing and reading comprehension are important, as well as good organizational skills. Due to the nature of the work, knowledge of the use of scientific equipment is essential, as well as the ability to research and analyze.
