Cabernet Village
Opened in Fall, 1984, Cabernet Village is the original apartment complex on campus. Today, one hundred ninety-two students live in five residential buildings. Residents live in four-person apartments complete with kitchens.
In Fall, 2000, Cabernet became a freshman village. The Freshman Interest Group (FIG) is housed in three of the five buildings in village. The residential buildings that comprise Cabernet Village are Gamay, Merlot, Muscat, Pinot, and Tokay. Within the Village are the Carneros Room, laundry facilities, and the Residential Life Coordinator's office.
Stacey Murray
Hello my name is Stacey Murray, and I am the RLC of Cabernet Village. I am originally from Texas but moved to Connecticut when I was little. I obtained my B.A. in Secondary Education/Social Studies from New England College and I received my M.S. in Higher Education Administration from the University at Albany. Previously, I worked as a Residence Hall Director at the State University of New York at Cobleskill. I love watching and playing sports, shopping, movies, and traveling. Being from the East Coast, I am excited and can't wait to explore all of what Sonoma County, California, and the West Coast has to offer. I am very excited to be here at Sonoma State University and I enjoy working with students. Please do not hesitate to stop by my office to say hello.
