SASB Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (San Francisco Bay Area): Administrative Assistant

JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role at SASB enabling greater organizational effectiveness. The individual will primarily work with the leadership team, though will have various responsibilities that support the stakeholder engagement team and the organization as a whole.
A high level of technology proficiency is required for this position, especially Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, and WordPress.
This is a fulltime job. Initially the individual will work remotely, occasionally working from the SASB office (1-2 days a week). As our organization grows we expect this person's time and responsibilities to grow as well, likely transitioning to working fulltime from the office.
Only candidates local to San Francisco bay area will be considered for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
• General support of the leadership team, including:
• Scheduling, travel planning, communications and other general administrative activities.
• General organizational support, including:
• Processing monthly expense reports (for both employees and board) and bi-weekly timesheets.
• Planning board meetings logistics (hotels, cars, location, catering).
• Basic website editing and maintenance. Responsible for ensuring content is updated weekly.
• Updating/maintaining presentation content (various presentations).
• Interfacing with our accountants as needed.
• Recruit and manage volunteers to assist with various SASB projects.
• Managing the quarterly newsletter
• Administering Salesforce for SASB. Entering and updating information as needed, running daily or weekly internal reports, generating portal views for external third parties.
• Depending on the level of technological expertise (the higher the better) the individual will also help automate as many tasks as possible (new contacts automatically populated in Salesforce, emails automatically sent out in certain circumstances, reports automatically generated on a pre-set schedule). This also means actively investigating new technologies to determine how they can improve our operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
• SalesForce.com proficiency. This is a required qualification.
• Technologically adept and demonstrable track-record of quickly learning/using new technologies: Salesforce, WordPress, iContact, MS Office, Windows. This is a CRITICAL skillset as we regularly add new technology solutions.
• Reliable - we move quickly and tasks need to be completed in a timely fashion.
• Trustworthy - individual will handle confidential and proprietary information.
• Proactive and takes initiative - recognizes what needs to get done and how to do it most efficiently and effectively, with little to no direction.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Comfortable working with executives and board members.
• Prior experience and demonstrated record of success as Administrative/Executive Assistant.
• This is a fast paced environment requiring self-direction, accountability, and high degree of personal initiative. Must be able to work independently and produce high quality output.
• Strong self-starter with ability to initiate work, manage performance to fulfill responsibilities in the face of competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.

The Sustainability Accounting Standards Board™ (SASB™) is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization engaged in the development and dissemination of industry-specific sustainability accounting standards. SASB will establish an understanding of material sustainability issues facing industries and create sustainability accounting standards suitable for disclosure in standard filings such as the Form 10-K. SASB addresses the unique needs of the U.S. market, establishing standards for integrated reporting that are concise, comparable within an industry, and relevant to all ~13,000 publicly listed companies in the U.S.
