Workshare: Account Manager

The Account Manager at Workshare is a customer based sales position, focusing on servicing renewals and account management issues. This is an entry level sales position that will introduce the right candidate to account management and the business operations of our successful sales team. Workshare is entering an exciting new phase of our business and there is ample opportunity for career growth for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Renewal Management - 85% of focus
Contacting customers to follow up on renewal sales notifications and securing POs. Tasks may include:
- Interacting with customers in professional manner to discuss specific renewal needs, such as co-terms and product related issues
- Making sure that renewal quotas are met while maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction
- Placing renewal orders in Workshare order fulfillment system
- Continually looking at ways in which to streamline and improve upon the renewal process
- Providing up to date reports for sales management showing renewal status and account health as requested
- Assuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention during the renewal process
- Renewal pool management
- Renewal notification generation
Ecommerce Management - 10% of focus
Management of the ecommerce portal facilitating sales and transactions. Tasks may include:
- Responding to customer order fulfillment issues
- Processing customer refund requests
- Monitoring Batch Loader and ensuring the accurate and timely process of orders in Workshare databases
- Monitoring and updating license inventory on Digital River site
- Ecommerce renewal management
Renewal Operations - 5% of focus
- Become well versed in the databases and programs utilized to manage renewals and ecommerce
- Develop guides for renewal and ecommerce process management as needed
- Develop suggestions for updating and streamlining processes amongst these systems related to renewals and ecommerce
- Order processing as needed by sales management
Skills and Knowledge:
- BA/BS Degree Required
- 2-5 years of work experience (internship experience will be considered)
- Strong communication and excellent teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- High energy, driven, articulate and friendly with a customer-service mind-set
- Well organized and proactive with taking on tasks and new assignments
- B2B customer sales skills
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce.com) and ecommerce systems a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
