Administrative/Personal Assistant to one of the Owners of Deering Wine.
The ideal candidate will be experienced and highly adept in handling a wide range of administrative tasks, and will be able to work independently with little supervision.

Deering Wine has many projects which require a very efficient, self-reliant, and high-achieving personality.  The owner needs someone who can problem-solve quickly and research solutions at a fast pace.

Key requirements:
  • Must be highly proficient in MAC computers including MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate excellent time management.
  • Must have excellent people, phone and written skills. IPAD friendly.
  • Be a team player and interact well with others.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, independent and detail oriented.
  • Position requires excellent organizational skills, flexibility, initiative, resourcefulness and a proactive and professional orientation.
  • Must have high level of confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the Owner's calendar, and for scheduling all of his appointments.
  • General office duties including responding to email, phone calls and written responses.
  • Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations for Executive. 
  • Must be willing to gain hands-on experience on the vineyards with the Owner.
  • Shadow the owner with an IPAD making continual notes.
  • Successfully run errands for the owner and the business when needed.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Office Administration is required.
  • Advanced MAC computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel,  & Power Point).
  • Experience providing accurate updates/reminders while preventing scheduling conflicts.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Wine knowledge/prior wine experience a plus.
  • Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Start Date:  ASAP
Salary Information: P/T Hourly DOE.
