Jackson Family Wines: Customer Relationship Marketing Manager

This is a newly created position in our Direct to Consumer department.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Development and execution of all Jackson Family Wines Direct to Consumer (DTC) sales & communication strategies for the wine club, phone, and web channels.
- Partners with Brand Marketing to develop annual DTC business plans to include DTC objectives, strategies and tactics, annual case and revenue goals and operating expense budgets.
- Leverages available resources to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Collaborates with the DTC Sales & Operations Manager to develop Estate VIP/Club experiences and events that drive acquisition and increase club loyalty.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS:
Wine Club
- Establishes annual wine club goals including membership acquisition and retention goals, revenue and expenses.
- Develops wine club communication & ensures consistent brand messaging, imagery and quality standards as adhered too.
- Develops member acquisition strategies.
- Proactively analyzes membership trends and develops and offers wine club-specific special offers and benefits to ensure an active and healthy membership base.
Web/Email:
- Establishes annual internet sales goals.
- In conjunction with Brand partner(s), develops annual email communication strategy taking into account all "newsworthy" activities (new releases, events, acclaim announcements, promotions, etc.).
- Works with web services to refresh information (tasting room, events, wine club) on website on an as-needed basis to make sure site is the most current reflection of the brand and its activities.
- Collaborate with Digital Communications team to develop digital dashboard to track and analyze online consumer activities.
Phone Sales
- Directs the outbound calling strategies for 3rd party relationship marketing partner
- Collaborate with 3rd party to develop robust analytical tools to drive a one to one marketing strategy
- Establishes annual phone sales goals
Other/Business Management:Analyzes sales reports on a monthly basis for all direct to consumer channels and shifts strategies and tactics accordingly.
- Responsible for maintaining tactical marketing calendar for all DTC channels and vehicles and the creation of marketing briefs for those vehicles.
- Receives pricing and discounting information from Marketing and utilizes to build effective pricing strategy for retail management, customer offers and lead generations.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with Brand Marketing, Web Services, DTC Operations, winery General Manager(s) and Production.
- Represents winery at special hospitality events and marketing functions
Desired Skills & Experience
- Looking for 10 years experience in people management and leading a high performing team.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, strong ethics, demonstrates mature reasoning and judgment.
- Successful candidates will have experience in Wine, Hospitality, Consumer Packaged Goods, or other related industries with customer loyalty programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
- Current P & L experience. Advanced analytical skills.
- Track record of creative program development and execution.
- Excellent proofing and editing skills with strong attention to details.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines and thrive in constantly changing environment.
- Advanced program understanding (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
- Flexible to work evenings or weekends as needed.
