DESCRIPTION
Position summary: The Marketing Assistant is a key link in implementing marketing strategies within and outside the company, by providing sales materials, advertising, printing, customer events, food shows and technology support on deadline. This position does involve creative design responsibilities and the creation of marketing strategies.

Main Job Duties:
Coordinates and assists with the marketing activities which include:

Monthly Flyer
Gather information from vendor/manufacturer
Proficient in Photoshop for design layout
Compile database of product pictures
Research articles
Create single page flyers of new items for sales staff
Social Media
Maintain and update Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn on a daily basis
Create eye catching give-a-ways and special promotions
Maintain and compile customer contacts and emails
Maintain Website
Gather information from manufacturer for featured Brand of the Month
Track the addition of new items and deleted items
Add and update monthly flyer

Kick-off Meeting
Pre-Show Flyer
Incentive Trip Program
Food Show
Vendor Appreciation Dinner
Golf Tournament
Monthly Sales Meetings
Vendor / Holiday Fair
B2B reviews and future Marketing program

Other Job Duties:
Entering, reporting and tracking deals
Invoicing and tracking for marketing program
Invoicing & tracking for food show vendors in and outside the
marketing program
Ordering promo material for sales staff and annual events
