HACU National Internship Program: Full/Part-Time Internship

Location: San Francisco, CA.
Housing: Bay area students only!
Desired Grade/Majors: Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Level Students preferred.
Accounting, Finance, Business, and Public Administration.
The HACU National Internship Program is seeking a talented and highly motivated student majoring in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Public Administration to intern in a challenging assignment for this fall semester in San Francisco, CA. -learn about the budget process with a government agency. A full-time or part-time schedule can be accommodated; however, interns must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week if electing a part-time schedule. The details of the internship assignment are at the end of this message.
To be eligible for these positions, applicants must:
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Be enrolled in a degree program for the Fall 2013 semester.
• Have completed their freshman year of college.
• Be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident.
The intern will work under the direct supervision of the Deputy Regional Administrator and will gain experience, skills, and knowledge in the following areas:
1. Assist with tracking expenditures and learn about the federal budget process.
2. Work with Funds Officer in Financial Management Section.

Salary: Sophomores/Juniors: $11.75 per hour; Seniors: $12.50 per hour; Masters/JD: $14.25 per hour
